Aviation is an exciting and rewarding industry, with a wide variety of career opportunities available in many related fields.
With the current shortage worldwide of pilots and aviation specialists, there has never been a better time to explore the world of flight.
AeroCamp® is designed to give young people, ages 12 through 16, a unique opportunity to examine the vast and exciting world of aviation and aerospace at their local airport.
As a member of the Flight School Association of North America, the Triad Aviation Academy is proud to participate in the AeroCamp Program.
Cadets learn firsthand about the dynamics of airplanes and flight and about the broad spectrum of careers in the aviation and aerospace industry.
We give every Cadet the opportunity to fly an aircraft if they choose to.
However, flight time is only a fraction of the AeroCamp experience and is not required to have a great learning adventure.
AeroCamp also includes site visits to various aviation-related organizations.
At the Triad Aviation Academy, AeroCamp participants have the opportunity to fly a real airplane (with an instructor of course), go inside a Commercial Jet, walk under the belly of a 747, see a real jet engine, visit the underground world of PTI airport terminal, learn about real weather balloons, touch an airport fire engine, and learn about light business jets.
We introduce Cadets to dynamics of airplanes and flight along with the broad spectrum of careers in aerospace.
Enjoy field trips, activities, tours, simulators, flights and more.
